Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. She was best known as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She was a theatre student through Northwestern University and spent a period at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career with Chicago-area theaters for a short time. After that, she switched to television and film. Anna's debut character was Arden, in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. Anna continued appearing in films and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late the 1990's. She was then cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate demise mirror the last few decades in the story of Walter White.
