Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished psychologist since 1993. She is also the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name is well-known as the pioneer of modern-day scientific research of the memory of children as eyewitnesses and the use of child victims in court settings. Prof. Goodman has published extensively she has received grants from numerous sources and has been awarded numerous national and international awards. She has been a consultant to numerous organizations and government officials across the globe on policy and studies on children who are victims of the justice system. She works as a Consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the head of the America Psychological Association's divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family Policies and Practice.
