Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, in Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received high praise from the music press and bloggers. The singer has released a number of high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and have been widely praised. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding an attic piano and being fascinated by the music it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not as work or for a passion and as a way to grow. In order to do so she started writing her own original compositions. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored songwriters. When her mother informed her that her music could not only help her get noticed, but also make others see their significance within the global community and see what can be done with them and her music, she was inspired to start playing in front of the public. The piano was her first instrument when she was six, and she started creating music after turning nine. The family did not be aware of this until she reached the age of 14. Aurora's success was never the goal of her. The only thing she loves is to write music. For her, the music she writes is the way that she feels any thing.
